When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, a friend from church came over to pray with us. He handed us a book titled Hope for Cancer. We thought that was an ironic title because cancer had led us to a very hopeless place. We wondered how there could be hope with a cancer diagnosis. Despite our doubt, we read the book cover to cover in a matter of days. We began to understand what cancer really is, the importance of discovering root cause and how a body can actually heal using the immune system.
There was one simple sentence in the first chapter that we will never stop repeating. Dr. Tony states, “Cancer is not a death sentence.” Wow. This sentence leaned us back into our seats and after days of holding our breath, we were finally able to exhale. The world screams death but this book bought hope. Dr. Tony explains how the body can heal itself when applying the 7 key principles which he outlines in his book.
As we read and reread the Hope for Cancer book, we fervently, without ceasing, prayed about the idea of going to this clinic. We had learned so much about healing through this book, it just made sense to go in person. Over the next few days, God washed peace over us. The kind of peace that only comes from Heaven. We clicked the link to apply and within a week we were on a plane heading to what would soon become, our healing home.
