Our Story

When Zach was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer at just 33 years old, we committed to leaving no stone unturned.

After visiting a biological dentist, a 3D Cone Beam scan revealed two infected root-canaled teeth that had never caused pain.

Before removing them, we completed a MyPerioPath® test, which screens for harmful oral bacteria associated with both periodontal disease and systemic health concerns.

Zach tested positive for three high-risk bacteria:

• Fusobacterium nucleatum / periodonticum
• Prevotella intermedia
• Peptostreptococcus (Micromonas) micros

One finding especially caught our attention.

Fusobacterium nucleatum has been identified in colorectal tumors and has been associated with tumor progression and spread in laboratory and observational research.

When we learned that one of Zach's infected teeth sat directly beneath his nose, he looked at me and said:
